Instafoam and Bottled cocktails
We at Addiction Mixology realize how many bartenders are out of work as a result of Covid 19 restrictions. The effect on future business is unknown but it is expected that more than 30% of bars and restaurants will not reopen.
As a result, there have been changes in the Alcohol Sales programs in many cities. The City of Los Angeles, as an example, has allowed takeout sales of alcohol with food in hopes of keeping restaurants and bars alive and functioning during these unprecedented times.
Many of you may not be aware that Instafoam, when part of a bottled cocktail, will foam up to 2 years when shaken in a sealed container, such as a jam jar. This allows you to produce any drink with foam as a bottled cocktail without the use of egg whites, aquafaba or other commercial foamers. Just look at the Amaretto Sour made by Melbourne Martini with Instafoam. If you are looking for jars, General Bottle in Los Angeles is a great source.
Let’s keep everyone’s spirits up with great cocktails!
